Consequences of Dumping God from Our World

Hello everybody, my name is Pedro. I come from Mexico, and I want to share a little bit about my story with you.

When I was a teenager, I had a big dream of coming to New York. I saw it as the capital of the world — a magnificent city. For me, New York was like Olympus. Only a few chosen, exceptional people could make it here. But I put that dream in God’s hands. After many years, He moved things around, and today I am here. This is my dream city. I still consider myself a permanent tourist in New York because I love it so much.

I believe New York represents the exceptional spirit of America and the American Dream — opportunity, greatness, and everything a person could hope for. When I first arrived, I realized it’s also a normal city where normal people live. Yet I’m still in awe when I look at everything that was built here: the bridges, the skyscrapers, the tunnels, and the infrastructure. These are engineering marvels.

Now look around. This university, this park, and so many landmarks were built more than a hundred years ago. I don’t think we’ve built anything as magnificent in the last century. The Brooklyn Bridge, the Manhattan Bridge — these are masterpieces from a different age. I often ask myself: Where are we now as humanity? Why aren’t we building great things like we used to?

One of my favorite places in New York is the Metropolitan Museum of Art. When you walk through it, you see magnificent paintings and sculptures from ages past. It feels like humanity has lost its appetite for greatness. The human spirit seems dimmed. Many of us are just trying to survive — to make a living, pay the bills, and get by. We eat poor food, live in cramped spaces, and barely make ends meet.

Where are all the technological advancements and efficiency gains that were supposed to make our lives better? Who is actually benefiting from AI and all this progress? It doesn’t feel like we are living better.

As I walked through that museum, I kept asking: Where did the human spirit go? When did we make the wrong turn and start building mediocrity instead of greatness?

I believe the answer is clear. In the past, God was at the center of society. People were in love with God. They marveled at His beauty and creation. That’s why they built magnificent cathedrals, composed glorious symphonies (like those of Johann Sebastian Bach), and created masterpieces in sculpture and art — all to praise God. In Europe, you see it everywhere: the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, the great cathedrals, and the sculptures of Michelangelo. Everything revolved around God.

Then we stopped believing. We removed God from the center of our lives and our societies. We were told we are nothing more than descendants of monkeys — just an accident of evolution. They used bad science and deception to push God out of society.

You don’t have to be a genius to see this is a scam. Just look at your own body. The complexity, the interconnected systems, the DNA code — all of it points to a magnificent Designer. Who created the software that runs our hardware? Things don’t happen by accident. The Second Law of Thermodynamics shows that order naturally moves toward disorder. Evolution contradicts this reality.

By kicking God out, we also lost something vital. We were created in God’s image — the pinnacle of creation. We were meant to rule over the earth with dignity, creativity, and purpose. When we removed God, we reduced ourselves to just another animal — a random collection of cells. Human value went from the top of creation all the way to the bottom.

This is why we no longer create beauty. When God is removed, beauty stops making sense. That’s why so much of what we produce today feels like garbage. We’ve welcomed lawlessness into our society by removing the Ten Commandments from our schools and public life. “You shall not kill. You shall not steal. You shall not commit adultery.” These are basic moral truths.

Without God, truth becomes optional. Scientists, politicians, and powerful institutions lie without shame. We live in a world where truth is attacked and lies are celebrated. Satan, the father of lies, has been thrilled with this development. He has extended his kingdom of darkness.

We have also lost justice. God is justice. When He is removed, corruption flourishes. We’ve lost the holiness of the human body — the temple of the Holy Spirit. That’s why abortion, immorality, and self-destruction have become normalized. We treat human life as worthless.

By removing God, we lost our North Star. We no longer build magnificent things. We no longer respect our bodies. We no longer pursue truth and beauty. We have become consumers — just numbers to be taxed, manipulated, and used.

Jesus came to show us a better way. He lived a perfect life, healed the sick, forgave sinners, and demonstrated the love of God. Yet we killed Him because we couldn’t stand the light of truth. People prefer darkness so their evil deeds won’t be exposed.

My message today is this:Even if God has been kicked out of society, government, and schools — you can still welcome Him back into your heart.

If you’ve been lied to by atheism or evolution, don’t buy it. There is far more evidence for God than against Him. The greatest scientists of the past — Newton, Galileo, and many others — believed in God and advanced science while seeking to understand His creation.

I’m not selling you a religion or a church. I’m inviting you to invite God back into your life. Pray a simple prayer: “God, if You exist, reveal Yourself to me.” He will answer.

Accept Jesus Christ into your life. He gave His life for you. Follow Him. You will not regret it. He will give you purpose, peace, and eternal life.
