Sundas Roohi Ministry
From the very first moments I understood the world, I have felt a deep calling in my heart to serve children. My name is Sundas Roohi, and I live in Faisalabad city, Pakistan. My journey in ministry began as a response to God’s voice in my life. Even as a child, I felt an unshakable love for helping children, and that love has guided every step I take.
My parents were incredible examples of faith, compassion, and service. My father served faithfully in the Church of God and dedicated much of his life to serving the church and its people. He even worked together with others to help build the church building itself. His commitment and devotion to God's house left a powerful example in my life. My father passed away in 2011, leaving behind a legacy of faith and service that still inspires me today.
My mother, Shabnam Nathanial, was an evangelist and a woman with a heart full of compassion. After my father passed away, she became a widow, yet she never allowed her own pain to stop her from helping others. Even while she herself was a widow, she stood beside other widows who had no support. When many women were struggling and had no one to help them, my mother became their support and encouragement.
She helped widows, orphans, and families who were suffering in poverty. In many situations, she even helped people pay off their debts so they could live with dignity and peace. Her life was a living example of love, sacrifice, and faith in action. My mother passed away in 2024, but her legacy of kindness and service continues to guide my life and ministry.
Before she passed away, my mother often told me that one day I would lead and help people just as she did. After losing both of my parents, I made a promise in my heart to continue the mission they started. That promise became the foundation of my ministry.
Today I continue this work through my ministry, Sundas Roohi Ministry. Through this ministry, I try to bring love, hope, and the teachings of Jesus to children, especially to orphans, disabled children, and families who are struggling.
Living in Pakistan, many Christian families face extremely difficult circumstances. Widows, orphans, and poor families often have very limited resources. Many children cannot afford education, clothing, or basic daily needs. Some families do not even have proper shelter. During the extreme heat in Pakistan, many people live without fans, cooling, or safe housing. It becomes very difficult for them to survive in such harsh conditions.
These realities break my heart, but they also strengthen my calling to serve. I organize activities and small educational efforts that help children learn, grow, and experience God’s love in their lives
Many times, I travel to remote areas to reach orphaned and disabled children. I do not have my own vehicle, yet God always makes a way for me to reach them. Sometimes I travel in the intense heat of June, and the journey becomes physically very difficult. Yet God places a strong passion in my heart to be there with these children—to comfort them, laugh with them, and share His love. That calling keeps me going even when the journey feels impossible.
This ministry is more than work for me—it is my dream, my prayer, and my commitment to honoring the legacy of my parents. Every day I strive to continue the path of faith, love, and service that they showed me.
Together, through love, prayer, and compassion, we can bring light and hope into the lives of children.
